Everyone Wins!

It's funny how things turn out really. Xbox UK approached BXB about two weeks ago with an offer of rewarding us with 1000 Microsoft points for every Xbox Live Subscription we sold through an affiliation with Play.com.

We initially turned the offer down because Microsoft points don't pay for hosting costs, however, Ashley decided that we could use the points to reward our staff for working on the site. We accepted and the ball began rolling a bit like Mouse Trap.

Obviously, our requests for the deal to be changed from points to pounds sterling have been heard by the chaps up at Xbox UK and they came back to us with an offer of rewarding us at a higher comission than Play.coms own affiliate scheme.

At the end of the day, this is a better deal for everyone. 1000 Microsoft points costs £8.50 to buy from Xbox Live and giving away £2 is going to save Microsoft £6.50 on every reward given. Plus, it helps us raise more money to pay for hosting costs.
