Retro-Fantastic!
No rest for the wicked! With a few updates on the Partnernet today I've been busy enjoying some retro gaming on Namco's classic titles Galaga and Pac-Man. You can find mini-reviews of both titles on BXB right now.
I found Galaga a little tedious really and I hoped that Namco Bandai would have jazzed up the graphics because they're presenting the game in HD but sadly they didn't and it's basically what was released in the arcades originally. Still, if you love retro titles then it's well worth the purchase.
On the other hand, Pac-Man still oozes retro appeal and hasn't aged a day and is still a lot of fun today! Again, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't improve the overall look of the game.
I'll also be reviewng these titles in the next issue of Retrofusion magazine along with Cloning Clyde!
To be honest, I'm still waiting for Street Fighter. It seems that Gamespot have got access to a cut down version of the game thanks to the partnernet but I haven't. A little confusing and frustrating but who am I to question mighty Microsoft? Erm...

Tried that, still no luck. It's obvious that some people have different levels of access to the Partnernet. Just a shame they don't bother to explain how it works. lol
